Actor Keegan Allen Pistol-Whipped and Robbed in West Hollywood Grocery Store Parking Lot

Keegan Allen, known for his roles in Walker and Pretty Little Liars, was robbed at gunpoint and pistol-whipped Thursday evening in the parking lot of a West Hollywood grocery store. The attack left the actor bloodied and resulted in the theft of his watch before the suspects fled the scene.

The incident took place at approximately 9:15 p.m. outside the Laurel Supply store located at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd., near Olive Drive. According to published reports, Keegan Allen was in the process of loading groceries into his vehicle when two young men approached him.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the victim was struck in the face with a handgun during the confrontation. Allen later shared an Instagram post stating he was robbed at both gunpoint and knifepoint, with the assailants threatening to kill him over his watch.

Following the violent encounter, Allen posted a video to social media that captured his physical condition and also included footage of the crime itself. The recording showed the actor breathing heavily with a visible cut where he was struck at least twice, with blood running down his face, neck, and shirt.

Emergency medical technicians treated Allen at the scene, though officials noted he was not transported to a hospital by responders. Allen later sought medical care independently out of concern that he may have sustained a concussion. In his social media post, he tagged Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom, expressing hope that local automated license plate reading cameras would assist authorities in tracking down the perpetrators.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is actively investigating the armed robbery. Officials stated that the suspects obtained the actor's watch before fleeing in an unknown vehicle. West Hollywood city officials also released a public statement addressing the crime.

The city's statement described the violent robbery as deeply upsetting and unsettling while emphasizing that public safety remains a top priority. In response to the incident, authorities announced that additional patrols will be conducted by sheriff’s deputies alongside the city's security ambassadors.

Keegan Allen gained widespread recognition starring alongside Jared Padalecki in The CW series Walker from 2021 to 2024 and through his recurring role on Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars from 2010 to 2017. He recently completed filming the lead role in the upcoming drama film Small Talk, which is set against the backdrop of the late-1970s Los Angeles music scene.
